TAG Airlines, the pioneer aviation company in Guatemala, was founded in 1961 as a family business. It was the first Guatemalan company that was certified as an Air Carrier under the regulations of Civil Aviation and is also the founder of the Association of Airlines and Union of Cargo Airlines of the Chamber of Industry.

For over 50 years now the airline has been taking care of the transportation needs of fliers through commercial and private aviation services nationally and internationally thereby contributing to the development of commercial aviation in the Central American region.

The corporate responsibility program called ‘Hope and Freedom Wings’ provides support to people in vulnerable situations and helps the administration in times of emergencies. TAG aims to be the airline with the greatest connectivity in the Central American region and southern Mexico through standardization of fleet and expanding aviation services.
